Actan (Malaysia) Sdn. Berhad, (AMSB) was incorporated on 24th November 1980. 

 

As a family run business, AMSB started off as a ready made garment trader. AMSB made its entry into the paper converting business with the acquisition of 1 unit used paper slitting machine in 1983. After almost 30 years in the business, it had since grown from a mere 1 machine, 1 operator undertaking, to be the market leader in the local roll paper industry. It currently has a total work force about 100 with a full range of converting machines for roll paper manufacturing, paper core / paper container manufacturing, roll to roll printing and roll to A4 size photo copier paper sheeting.

 

To day, AMSB is a well respected, well integrated roll paper converter, with facilities to convert jumbo roll paper of all grades from woodfree paper, kraft paper, NCR paper, Thermal Paper, Self contain paper, to any size fitting all kinds of machinery and equipment. Complimented with roll to roll printing, its finish products are suitable for a wide range of usage includes, ATM machine roll, Facsimile roll, Cash Register roll, Water bill, Electricity bill, Parking coupon, Highway toll ticket & etc. Its Photo copier paper division, has the capacity to produce 1,500 metric tons of A4 size paper per month.

 

AMSB roll paper are supplied to consumer such as Tenaga National Bhd, Jabatan Berkalan Air, Standard Chartered Bank, RHB Bank, NCR, Royal Malaysian Armed Force, JPJ, various privatised municipal parking operators, and etc. Whereas, the cut size paper are supplied to client such as APRIL Fine Paper Trading, Behn Meyer & etc. About 10% of its products are exported overseas to Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Singapore.

 

The management of AMSB believes in continuing up grading its product quality, introducing new products with their creative and innovative ideas to take the lead position in local roll paper and cut size paper market.
